Springsteen is pleased to present Narrow Waves, a group exhibition featuring the work of Colin Alexander, David Armacost, Reece Cox, Colin Foster, Bradford Kessler, Quintessa Matranga, and Marisa Takal. Narrow Waves reveals nuanced perceptions and acts as a medium between planes of awareness. The works in the show serve as a planchette to harness the subtlety of relational energy through a transitional lens.

Colin Alexander (b. 1991, Cleveland, OH) is an artist and writer that lives/works in Baltimore, MD. He is the founding editor of the online publication Post-Office Arts Journal and is a member of collectively run projects Open Space and bb.

David Armacost (b. 1979, Baltimore, MD) received his MFA from Towson University in 2014. His paintings have been exhibited at Soloway, Brooklyn; Franklin Street, Baltimore; and Martos Gallery, New York. David lives and works in Brooklyn and Baltimore.

Reece Cox (b. 1991, Charlotte, NC) has been involved in a number of artist run spaces including Fitness Center for Arts and Tactics, Brooklyn. He was recently apart of the show, Convention, curated by Open Space at the Compound, Baltimore. Cox is currently based in Baltimore.

Colin Foster (b. 1990) lives and works in Baltimore, where he received a BFA from Maryland Institute College of Art in 2013. He recently presented work in a two person show with Torey Thornton at Freddy Gallery, Baltimore.

Bradford Kessler (b. 1982, High Plains, KS) received his BFA from the University of Kansas in 2005 and MFA from School of Visual Arts in 2013. His work has been exhibited at American Medium, Brooklyn; 247365, New York; Rowing, London; Ashes/Ashes, Los Angeles; Carrie Secrist Gallery, Chicago; Paramount Ranch, Los Angeles; and Witte de With, Rotterdam. He currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.

Quintessa Matranga (b. 1989) lives and works in New York. She is the former director of Mission Comics, San Francisco. She recently exhibited work at Levy.Delval, Brussels; Gertrude Contemporary, Australia; Centre for Style, New York; and City Limits, Oakland. She has forthcoming solo exhibitions with Chin's Push, Los Angeles and Good Press Gallery, Glasgow.

Marisa Takal (b. 1991, Montclair, NJ) received her BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2013. Her work as been exhibited at SADE LA, Los Angeles; Secret Recipe, Los Angeles; Rock512Devil, Baltimore; Human Resources, Los Angeles; Skylab Gallery, Columbus; Mission Comics and Art Gallery, San Francisco; sophiajacob, Baltimore; and Eleanor Harwood Gallery, San Francisco. She currently lives and works in Los Angeles.
